Taeshaun Lyons Highlights Dorian Singer as a Role Model

Day 4 of spring practice is in the books and as the team continues to improve their rapport and iron out the kinks, new transfer players are also doing their best to mold into the team culture and system.

In his post-practice interview, Washington transfer WR Taeshaun Lyons said that fellow transfer WR Dorian Singer out of USC has been a role model for him in spring camp.

Lyons highlighted Singer's experience and resume, previously playing for Arizona and USC, as a reason to look at Singer as a mentor throughout the entire process.

Singer boasted 1,406 yards and 6 touchdowns on 84 receptions during his two seasons in the desert before transferring to USC, where he racked up 289 yards and 3 touchdowns on 24 receptions with Caleb Williams.

Lyons, a four-star WR out of Heyward, California enrolled at Washington in August of 2023 before entering the portal in December and committing to the U in January. He comes into the Utes program ready to make an immediate impact having never played for the Huskies and who better to look up to than an experienced transfer from an elite program in Singer.

The duo is arguably the most talented WR pair Cam Rising has had the chance to throw to, and they will look to continue to grow their chemistry so come the 2024 season, the sparks will fly.
