Utah lands commitment from 2025 three-star EDGE Nela Tupou

On Tuesday evening, the Utah Utes landed their first non-quarterback of their 2025 recruiting class.

Nela TupouThree-star EDGE Nela Tupou took to Twitter to announce his commitment to Utah.

Standing in at 6-foot-4 210 pounds, Tupou played on both offense and defense for California powerhouse, Folsom High School. This past season he recorded 18 catches for 280 yards and three scores on offense, while adding 15 total tackles on defense.

According to 247Sports, Tupou ranks as the No. 52 EDGE and the No. 69 player in the state of California. He is the second-highest-ranked recruit in Utah's class, with three-star quarterback Wyatt Becker out of Sierra Canyon headlining the class.
