Utah Lands Michigan DB Transfer Cameron Calhoun

The Utah Utes are staying hot in the transfer portal market as a couple of days after landing UTEP EDGE Kanious Vaughn, they added yet another transfer portal player to the defensive side of the ball.

Michigan defensive back transfer and former four-star recruit Cameron Calhoun took to social media on Sunday to announce that he will be transferring to Utah.

A four-star recruit out of Ohio, Calhoun was his high school's all-time leader in interceptions with 14. He chose Michigan over programs such as Kentucky, Cincinnati, and West Virginia. In his lone season as a Wolverine, Calhoun appeared in two games.

He will have a chance to contribute to a secondary that is losing a handful of starters and contributors to the NFL Draft or the transfer portal. He also joins Georgia Tech transfer Kenan Johnson as the second secondary member to transfer into Utah thus far, with more possibly on the way.
