Utah To Host Four-Star In-State Lineman Darius Afalava For An Official Visit

Utah has been incredibly successful when it comes to targeting the top offensive lineman prospects in Utah, and the program will look to extend its streak of signing the highest-rated in-state lineman prospect from two recruiting cycles to three recruiting cycles.

Darius Afalava is a 6'5" 320-pound interior offensive lineman out of Lehi, Utah, and was the top performer at the Under Armour Next Camp Series event in Salt Lake City during the summer.

The class of 2025 recruit hailing from Skyridge High has received offers from 18 schools so far, most notably Washington, Oregon, Michigan, LSU, and Utah.

If Afalava signs with the Utes, he will join 2023's top offensive lineman Spencer Fano, and 2024's top offensive lineman Isaiah Garcia as the third straight top-rated in-state lineman to commit to the U.

With MaxPreps Player of the Year, Isaac Wilson set to take the reins in 2025, he could potentially be playing behind one of the best offensive line units in college football, and if the program's recruiting streak continues, QBs to follow will surely have the same luxury.
