Zach Moss Market is Growing as NFL Free Agency Begins

The NFL Offseason is in full swing as the 2024 Combine is in the books. Trades, extensions, and rumors are running rampant with the Free Agency window officially open, and former Ute Zach Moss is set to be a sought-after player coming off his impressive 2023 season.

NFL Reporter Aaron Wilson broke the news that four teams are interested in signing the Colts' running back after he amassed 794 rushing yards and 5 rushing touchdowns, while also garnering 192 receiving yards and 2 receiving touchdowns in 14 games.

The Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans, Green Bay Packers, and Cleveland Browns are all in the hunt to sign Moss. In Houston, he would most likely be a part of a tandem backfield with Damien Pierce. Moss would also most likely be part of a committee with Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon already established in Green Bay. Cleveland would most likely be the same situation for the Utah man, with Nick Chubb returning from injury and Jerome Ford coming off a solid season.

The Titans are the outlier of the four teams in the running for Moss, as they are expected to move on from long-time star Derrick Henry. Moss would immediately slot in as the starter out of the backfield, and with a rebuilding Tennessee roster, he would be a young but experienced presence in the locker room and on the field.

Moss has proven that he can be a starter in the NFL as well as a crucial part of a committee backfield, and will be a valuable multi-faceted asset for any team that signs him.
