Kate Douglass continues to stack up medals at the 2023 FINA World Aquatics Championships. The legendary Virginia swimmer earned her third medal of the week on Wednesday night in Japan, as she helped Team USA capture bronze in the mixed 4x100-meter medley relay.

Douglass swam the anchor leg of the mixed medley relay for the Americans and turned in a blistering 51.79 split to put Team USA on the podium in third. Australia took the silver medal and China won gold.

Douglass has now earned one of each medal at the World Championships this week, as she won a silver medal as part of Team USA's 4x100-meter freestyle relay team and also won the Americans' first gold medal of the World Championships, winning the title in the 200-meter individual medley with UVA teammate Alex Walsh finishing right behind her to take silver.

Virginia swimmers have now earned a total of six medals in the first four days of the World Championships.
