Wahoos Weekly: Virginia Cavaliers All Sports Schedule March 6-12

See the full schedule of Virginia Cavaliers sporting events for the week of March 6th-12th. This week, nine Virginia sports teams will be in action for a total of 17 UVA sporting events.
The Virginia men's golf team is competing in the Wake Forest Invitational at the iconic Pinehurst No. 2 on Monday and Tuesday in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
Athletes from the UVA swimming & diving teams are participating in the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships from Monday through Wednesday in Morgantown, West Virginia.
The Virginia baseball team, now ranked No. 17 in the latest D1Baseball.com poll, wraps up a nine-game homestand with a game against William & Mary on Tuesday at 3pm at the Dish before beginning ACC play with a three-game series at No. 14 North Carolina this weekend in Chapel Hill.
Update: Due to forecasted inclement weather in Chapel Hill on Sunday, the schedule for the UVA baseball series at North Carolina has been adjusted to the following:
- Game 1: Friday at 5pm
- Game 2: Saturday at 1pm
- Game 3: Saturday at 4:30pm (approximately 45 minutes after game 2 ends)
The No. 1 Virginia men's lacrosse team has two games this week. UVA will play at No. 10 Johns Hopkins for the Doyle Smith Cup on Tuesday at 4pm in Baltimore. The Cavaliers will then return to Charlottesville to host Towson on Saturday at Klockner.
Winners of 11-straight games, UVA softball will look to keep it going on the road at Liberty on Tuesday at 6pm in Lynchburg. The Cavaliers will then begin ACC play with a three-game home series against Georgia Tech this weekend at Palmer Park.
Virginia men's basketball has earned the No. 2 seed in the ACC Tournament and will face No. 7 North Carolina, No. 10 Boston College, or No. 15 Louisville in the ACC quarterfinals on Thursday at 7pm at Greensboro Coliseum. If the Cavaliers win, they will play again in the semifinals on Friday at approximately 9:30pm.
Virginia men's tennis has a pair of ACC road matches this weekend at Louisville on Friday afternoon and at Notre Dame on Sunday.
UVA women's tennis has one non-conference match at Central Florida on Friday in Orlando.
No. 9 Virginia women's lacrosse has a major showdown against No. 1-ranked and defending national champion North Carolina on Saturday at 3pm in Chapel Hill.
