Virginia senior defensive tackle Olasunkonmi Agunloye has entered the transfer portal with two years of eligibility remaining, Agunloye announced on social media on Monday morning.

"UVA has brought me some of my best memories to date and I will never forget the people that were with me through thick and thin," Agunloye wrote. "With that being said, I will be entering my name into the transfer portal with 2 years left of eligibility and I'm excited to begin a new chapter in my career."

A 6'5", 298-pound defensive tackle from Lindenhurst, New York, Agunloye appeared in 22 games over the last four years at Virginia, including nine games in the 2021 season and 10 games in 2022. Agunloye was expected to be a key contributor on UVA's defensive line this past season, but suffered a devastating injury in the 2023 season-opener against Tennessee, rupturing the patellar tendon in both of his knees. He underwent surgery on both knees and was forced to miss the rest of the season.

In 22 career games, Agunloye logged 35 tackles, three tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and a fumble recovery. He enters the transfer portal as a graduate transfer with two years of eligibility remaining.
