Key 1: Spread the Scoring Around

Washington lost 80.2% of their “points” from last seasons’ roster, so Isaiah Stewart, Jaden McDaniels, Quade Green, Naz Carter and company will all need take shots when open and spread the wealth

Key 2: Capitalize on takeaways

Tennessee has proven that they can rack up the score, putting up 82 points against Murray State on Tuesday and 78 against UNC-Asheville the week before. The 2-3 zone the Dawgs run will be a challenge for Tennessee who is used to seeing a man defense, so make sure to finish on defense.

Key 3: Minimize turnovers

While this can seem like a no-brainier, Washington committed 20 turnovers in their close win to Baylor on a neutral site and a lot of those were caused by themselves and not the defense and then 14 turnovers were created against Mt. Saint Mary’s on Tuesday. Both were close games because of turnovers. Just minimize those easy mistakes.
