Washington Husky Redshirt freshman Trey Lowe has entered the transfer portal and intends to leave the University of Washington football program according to multiple sources with knowledge of the impeding transfer. Official University of Washington representatives have declined to comment at this time.

A 4 star recruit out of Jesuit High School in Portland, OR, Lowe had not seen any snaps in the 2019 season. Reports from the Husky camp earlier this year said that Trey was recovering from an infection and was unavailable for participation.

Lowe was named as the 2017 Oregon Gatorade Player of the Year after rushing for 2,316 all-purpose yards, including over 1,700 yards rushing and 35 total touchdown. He was invited to play in the 2018 U.S. Army All-American Bowl and led his Jesuit team to the Oregon 6A quarterfinals as a senior.

Stay tuned as more developments become available.
