West Virginia takes down Marshall ahead of Big 12 Conference play to move to 19-4

The West Virginia Mountaineers captured their 19th win of the season following a 9-7 win against the Marshall Thundering Herd (11-11) Tuesday night.

The Mountaineers grabbed the series against Xavier last week after splitting a two-game midweek series versus Hofstra. 

We give our thoughts on the last week and look ahead to the Mountaineers' conference opener at Kansas State in a three-game series with the first pitch for game one set for 7:00 p.m. EST Friday night.
