Mark Kellogg is Ready to 'Send Caitlin Clark Packing'

West Virginia hopes to be the Cinderella story of the NCAA Tournament.

Cinderella stories in March Madness typically features teams who have a double digit seed attached to their name. But if West Virginia can somehow find a way to win a couple of games in the NCAA Tournament everyone, and I mean everyone, will be talking about the Mountaineers.

West Virginia has a tricky first round matchup with Princeton who finished the year 25-4 and is a team with a win over Oklahoma and a narrow three-point loss to UCLA. They've won 20 of their last 21 games thanks to a stingy defense that ranks 17th in points allowed per game (56.1).

If they get past Princeton, West Virginia will have its hands full with No. 1 seed Iowa in the Round of 32. The Hawkeyes are the talk of the tournament with reigning player of the year, Caitlin Clark, on the hunt for that elusive national title.

WVU head coach Mark Kellogg embraces the potential challenge and spoke confidently about it at the team's watch party following the reveal of the bracket.

"I already told them, let's win one and let's send Caitlin Clark packing," Kellogg told those in attendance."
