BREAKING: Big 12 Officially Adds Three PAC 12 Schools

The Big 12 Conference expands once again.

The PAC 12 takes another hit from the Big 12. This time, it's a massive one. Late Friday night, the Big 12 Conference announced that they will welcome Arizona, Arizona State, and Utah into the league beginning in 2024. The PAC 12 has just four schools remaining - Cal, Oregon State, Stanford, and Washington State.

This brings the Big 12 to a total of 16 schools and also gets the league into the Pacific Time Zone, making them the only major conference to be in all four time zones.

"We are thrilled to welcome Arizona, Arizona State and Utah to the Big 12," said Commissioner Brett Yormark in a statement released by the conference. "The Conference is gaining three premier institutions both academically and athletically, and the entire Big 12 looks forward to working alongside their presidents, athletic directors, student-athletes and administrators."
