Wren Baker Gives Clever Response to ASU AD's Comments About 'Not Going to Morgantown'

West Virginia AD Wren Baker just became the most beloved person in the state.

Arizona State made quite the entrance to the Big 12 Conference thanks to their Athletic Director Ray Anderson.

"I promise I'm not going to Morgantown," Anderson told reporters during a press conference outside of an ASU football practice. "I'm going to sign that to [Deputy Athletics Director] Jean Boyd. He can go to Morgantown. But send me to Texas and the rivalry with Arizona and starting a new one with BYU and Utah and Colorado."

Prior to making the comment, Anderson and university president Michael Crow were discussing travel distance and late fall weather, so it's clear that the ASU AD isn't one for long flights or anything below the Tempe average temperature of 74 degrees in November.

It didn't take long for West Virginia athletic director Wren Baker to respond and he did so with an A+ tweet.
