BREAKING: WVU Defensive Lineman Enters Transfer Portal

The Mountaineers lose another player to the portal.

West Virginia redshirt junior linebacker Bryce Brand has entered the transfer portal. The news was first reported by Keenan Cummings of Rivals.com and was confirmed by a source close to Mountaineer Maven.

Brand transferred into the program last May from Maryland and appeared in just two games this season and recorded two tackles. Prior to coming to West Virginia, Brand played in nine games in 2019 with the Terps and finished with 12 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and one sack. He was primarily used as a backup on the defensive line and at linebacker.
