FAN POLL: Results Are in for WVU vs. Pitt Predictions
West Virginia fans are more than ready for Saturday night to arrive as they host the Pitt Panthers at Mountaineer Field for the first time since 2011. Last year, Pitt won the rekindling of the Backyard Brawl in the season opener, 38-31, on a pick-six by MJ Devonshire.
This time around, the two teams have a pair of games under their belt, and each roll into this one with a 1-1 record. WVU's only loss was to No. 7 Penn State, who they were within two scores of for the majority of the game. Meanwhile, Pitt lost last week to Big 12 newcomer Cincinnati at home.
Who will win on Saturday night in primetime? In a poll I ran earlier this week on Twitter (X), 89.2% of fans voted for West Virginia to win the game while 10.8% went with the Pitt Panthers. 667 votes were cast.
