Wheeling, WV - Kevin Jones led Best Virginia with 22 points and Erik Stevenson put in 16, including the game winner as Best Virginia advanced to the second round of the TBT tournament with a 70-68 win over Dubois Dream. 

Dubois Dream jumped out to an emphatic 4-0 lead, but Kevin Jones buried a three from the right corner and consecutive threes from Erik Stevenson gave the Mountaineers their first lead 9-8. Stevenson followed with a pair of nice passes to a cutting Jones and then Chase Harler in the middle of the paint capped off a 7-0 run and a 16-11 Best Virginia advantage at the 3:49 mark of the first quarter. However, Dubois Dream ended the period on a 11-4 run and took a 22-20 into the second quarter. 

Dalton Bolton put Dubois Dream up four to begin the second period, but went on a three-minute scoring drought while Kevin Jones worked the post to cut the lead in half, then buried a three before Jamel Morris second chance bucket put Best Virginia up three but Trey Moses responded with a three on the ensuing possession to tie the game at 27 with 5:23 remaining in the quarter. 

Dubois Dream led by as many as three during the final stretch of the first half, but John Flowers buried a three from the left wing to tie the game and a Kevin Jones bucket for 14 first half points with 44 seconds remaining gave Best Virginia a one-point lead at halftime. 

Best Virginia created some separation in the third quarter and led by as many as eight, behind eight points from Kevin Jones and led by six the end of the period, 52-46. 

Chase Harler dropped in a layup on Best Virginia's first possession but consecutive threes from Albert Varacallo and Jake Biss had Dream Dubois within two with 7:32 left to play.

Kedrian Johnson tipped in a Stevenson missed three to give Best Virginia a five-point advantage. 

Biss tied the game with a three with just over four minutes remaining and before the Elam Ending of 70 was announced. 

With the game tied at 62, Stevenson buried a three, but a four-point spurt put Dubois up one 66-65. Nathan Adrian answered on the following possession to reclaim the Best Virgia lead. However, another pair of free throws for Dubois Dream for a 68-67 lead.
