Milwaukee Bucks point guard Jevon Carter set several career-highs after his fifth season in the NBA. 

In his first full season with the Bucks, the former West Virginia University guard led the Bucks in games played with 81 appearances, including a personal best 39 starts and averaged career-highs in minutes played (22.4), points (8.0), field goal percentage (42.3%) and rebounds (2.5). 

Carter scored a career-highs against the Oklahoma City Thunder on November 8 to lead the Bucks to their 11th victory of the season, scoring 36 points on 15-27 shooting and dished 12 assists. 

He had an 18-point performance behind a career-best six threes in January against the Miami Heat and his four steals in the seventh game of the season versus the Detroit Pistons tied a career-high. His four blocks against the Atlanta Hawks on November 10th marked a personal best. 

Carter's production has increased since arriving in Milwaukee towards the end of the 2021-22 season. He is averaging 7.6 points during his Bucks career an uptick from 4.3 ppg in his previous three stops. 

The Oak Park, IL native was selected in the second round of the 2018 NBA Draft by the Memphis Grizzlies. He spent one year with the franchise and set a previous career-high of 32 points before he was traded to the Phoenix Suns for two seasons.

The Suns traded Carter to the Brooklyn Nets prior to last season, opting to the defending world champion Milwaukee Bucks to scoop him up for a playoff push. He made 20 appearances in the final stretch of the regular season, averaging 5.6 points and 2.5 assists per game.

Carter was a three-time Big 12 Conference All Defensive Team selection during his time at WVU and was twice voted Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Year and NABC Defensive player of the year and was the 2018 Naismith Defensive Player of the Year.

Carter elevated his offense his senior season, averaging 17.3 points and 6.6 assists per game and a first team All-Big 12 Conference selection.
