Frazier Projected to Go 1st Round in Latest NFL.com Mock Draft

West Virginia's top prospect is on the rise.

West Virginia center Zach Frazier is considered by some as the top center prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft, but he's mainly viewed as the No. 2 player at the position behind Oregon's Jackson Powers-Johnson.

There is always the possibility that Frazier is drafted by a team to play guard and in Daniel Jeremiah's latest mock draft on NFL Network, that's exactly what he projects to happen, slotting him to the Detroit Lions at No. 29 overall.

"The Lions’ starting guards are scheduled to reach free agency this offseason, and this feels like Dan Campbell’s type of player. Frazier, a state-champion wrestler in high school, could step right in at guard and eventually move to center."

Frazier played guard in high school and began his career at WVU at the position before making the transition to center.

Frazier will be West Virginia's lone representative at the 2024 NFL Combine in Indianapolis which is slated to begin next week.
