Zach Frazier Meets with Cowboys, Bears at NFL Combine

West Virginia's leader up front is starting to meet with teams in Indianapolis.

Saturday afternoon, West Virginia center Zach Frazier spoke with the media at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.

Frazier confirmed that he has met formally with the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys thus far and has more meetings on the way.

The Bears have the first and ninth overall pick and aren't on the clock again until No. 75 overall in the third round. As for the Cowboys, they have the 24th overall pick in addition to having a pick in the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th rounds with two comp picks in the seventh.

Frazier will not be a full participant at the combine which is to be expected following the injury he sustained in the regular season finale at Baylor. However, he is getting close to 100% and wants to put his progress on display.

"I can run a forty, I can do shuttle. I'm training for that now, but I'm going to end up waiting to run those at Pro Day. I wanted to show my progress, so I'm going to do position drills here and bench."

Frazier on meeting with the Cowboys:

"It was a really good meeting. I liked all the coaches and I had a good time in that meeting."

Frazier on controlling the calls up front with a rookie QB if taken by Chicago:

"I feel like I work very hard and that's something I would study as soon as I can. I feel like I'm a good student of the game and I would work with the coach to get everything down."
