'25 OL Gavin Crawford Includes WVU in Top Schools, Sets Official Visit

A name Mountaineer fans will want to get familiar with as we head into the summer months.

Class of 2025 offensive lineman Gavin Crawford (6'4", 285 lbs) of Good Counsel High School in Olney, Maryland recently unveiled his top five schools - a list which features West Virginia.

Joining the Mountaineers in the race to land one of Maryland's best recruits are Duke, Florida, Maryland, and Syracuse.

West Virginia will get the first official visit for Crawford which is set for May 31st-June 2nd. Two weeks later, he'll take an OV to Maryland. He has unofficials scheduled to the other three schools in his top five and will work on securing officials with them in the coming weeks.

Crawford primarily plays left guard and is a force in the run game. He spent all of last season on the same offensive line as Kyle Altuner, who is an incoming freshman at West Virginia.

A decision date for Crawford has not been established at this time, but will likely come after his official visits this summer.
