West Virginia defensive coordinator Vic Koenning has tapped into the Palmetto State, offering 2020 Gaffney (SC) linebacker Jemari Littlejohn.

"It's a great offer in my eyes," Littlejohn said of the Mountaineers. "I always loved watching them play on TV, so getting an offer from them was an honor."

The 6-foot, 220-pound backer also holds an offer from Western Kentucky but thinks he would fit well into coach Koenning's defense.

"I love the defensive setup. It's the exact same as it is here at my school. Coach Vic says I'll be a good fit there."

Littlejohn does not have a top-five at this time, but stated that the "atmosphere" and the "home-feeling" of a program will be important factors when making a decision.

As for now, the 2020 rising junior is focused on his GPA and bringing home another trophy to Gaffney, South Carolina.
