Best Lachmann 556 Ranked Play Loadout: Build and Attachments
The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Season 03 has brought changes to guns and what the new meta is becoming. It's beginning to make players wonder if the Lachmann-556 is taking over for the TAQ-56. With changes and updates to the game, attachments to weapons can vastly improve its performance and your overall gameplay. One of the guns players are trying out in Ranked Play is the Lachmann AR. Here's how you should build the gun to get the most out of it.

Ammunition
5.56 High Velocity
With the lack of ADS speed the Lachmann has, adding the High Velocity rounds over a muzzle gives you a 10% added range while not reducing your ADS speed. With the speed that SMG players play, losing ADS speed isn't ideal in Ranked Play.
Underbarrel
FSS Sharkfin 90
A universal underbarrel that can be used with any gun and is used by many Pro Call of Duty League players. What you need for an AR is speed and quickness to keep up with SMGs and win close-range gunfights. The Sharkfin offers no reductions while improving your accuracy.
Barrel
15.9" Lachmann Rapp Barrel
This barrel will significantly lower the movement speed and ADS speed, but with other attachments, you can offset these reductions. What you're going for here is the added damage, range, and recoil control to help you with long-range gunfights and obliterate enemies up close.
Stock
Lachmann S9 Factory
This is where you will improve your speed on the Lachmann. While your aim and recoil control take a slight hit, the added sprint speed and ADS speed counteract what the barrel is taking a hit on. The S9 Factory stock will have you moving around quickly to be able to keep up with SMGs.
Rear Grip
LMK64 Grip
Moving from point to point is vital to your team's success. Meaning you'll be sprinting around the map. The LMK64 Grip allows you to keep moving forward and quickly ADS and take out any enemies in your way. The grip and the stock keep you moving quickly to be able to out-pace your opponent, while the other attachments will have you winning gunfights at all ranges.
