Best MCW Ranked Play Loadout for Modern Warfare 3
Modern Warfare 3’s Season One Reloaded update brought the long awaited arrival of Ranked Play. However, it also brought a number of weapon balance changes, and the previous MCW Loadout has now changed. To ensure that you can rank up through the skill divisions as fast as possible, here’s the best MCW Loadout for MW3 Ranked Play.

The MCW is without a doubt the best weapon in Modern Warfare 3, and that also makes it the go to for many Ranked Play players. This MCW Loadout is built to have minimal recoil, while also remaining mobile, allowing you to traverse the map quickly but also stay on point with your shots. The recent weapon balancing update also gives us a couple attachments that you can change on the MCW.
- Optic: Slate Reflector
- Muzzle: L4R Flash Hider
- Barrel: 16.5” Cyclone Long Barrel
- Underbarrel: XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop
- Rear Grip: RB Claw-PSL Grip
First off, we’re using the Slate Reflector Optic as this is generally the choice of most professional Call of Duty League players. However, you can also use the MK. 3 Reflector as this removes the top barrier and allows you to see a bit more at long ranges. Second, we use the L4R Flash Hider to improve recoil control, however you can also use the T51R Billeted Brake as you may prefer the recoil pattern with that Muzzle instead.
The XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop is the best Underbarrel due to its improvement in recoil control, but the DR-6 Handstop is also a great option if you’re looking for a bit more mobility and don’t mind trading some recoil control. The 16.5” Cyclone Long Barrel remains the best Barrel for the MCW in Modern Warfare 3 Ranked Play as it improves Bullet Velocity and recoil control. Finally, we use the RB Claw-PSL Grip to add some mobility, and make the perfect MCW Ranked Play loadout.

Perks and Equipment
- Vest: Infantry Vest
- Gloves: Commando Gloves
- Boots: Lightweight Boots
- Gear: EOD Padding
- Lethal: Semtex
- Tactical: Stun Grenade
The Perks and Equipment available in MW3 Ranked Play are quite restrictive, so you won’t be able to change far from these. First, we use the Infantry Vest as this increases Tac Sprint duration. The Commando Gloves allow you to reload while sprinting, making you extremely mobile on the map. The Lightweight Boots increase movement speed, being the perfect companion to the Infantry Vest, and EOD Padding reduces the impact of any Lethal grenades. These are the best Perks for MW3 Ranked Play, and are used by all of the Pro players.
Finally, we use the Semtex and Stun Grenade, as these are great for clearing out buildings and corners in Hardpoint. However, both the Frag and Flash could be used here.
