The Call of Duty League Major II qualifiers are a week away, and some important news was announced. Paul "PaulEhx" Avila has decided to step away from competing, as well as social media.

He stated on twitlonger.com: "Hey guys, I wanted to let you all know I need some time to find my footing in life again if I want to progress. This is me stepping away from social media and from competing until I feel that I am the best person and teammate I possibly can be. I am still a part of London as their substitute, and I have their back like I know they have mine. They have been nothing but supportive of me in this situation. Thank you to everyone who supports me. I hope you will continue to support me through my journey. I'll be back better than ever.

The Royal Ravens played well enough to rank sixth heading into group play of Major I but ran into trouble when Seattle Surge demolished them in a clean sweep of the match. They then took a tough loss to the Challengers, Los Angeles Guerrillas Academy, in a close match, 3-2.

On the new Modern Warfare 2 game, the struggles were evident for the Royal Ravens, as they couldn't carry any momentum through the weekend. A change was imminent, as rumors circulated that London would swap PaulEhx for their substitute player Matthew "Skrapz" Marshall. It's never going to sit well with a player being benched. Still, it was a bit of a surprise to many that PaulEhx would be completely stepping away for an unforeseen amount of time, though he will remain a substitute and likely won't compete in Challengers.
