The FNCS 2024 Is Coming — Schedule, Streaming, Prize Pool
Epic has announced that “duos format is here to stay” but there are still some changes to the tournament structure to check out. Here is all we know about the FNCS and the Global Championship.
How to Qualify For the FNCS
To participate in the Majors, your duo will have to reach Platinum 1 rank in ranked battle royale.
If you want to earn a place in the Championship, you will need to qualify through the three Majors. This year, there’s no Last Chance Major so the three Majors are your only chance. Each Major has you playing against other duos in your region and you’ll get Series Points based on your performance.
In the Open Qualifier rounds of a Major, you will compete across 10 matches within a three-hour window. You’ll need to advance through each round. Depending on your placement on the leaderboard, you’ll compete in the Lower Semi-Finals Round 1 or the Upper Semi-Finals Round 1.
Epic Games
After the Semi-Finals, 50 duos will compete in the Grand Finals of the Major. The top three duos will go to the Global Championship.

Fortnite Championship Series Community Cups
If you want to partake in the competitive festivities, there will be two FNCS Community Cups every season. You can compete to earn in-game cosmetics. More details, including a date, will be revealed soon.
