Disney Lorcana Cards Coming to US Disney Parks
Ever since Disney Lorcana was released earlier this month, in-person purchasing options have been a bit scarce. This has led to a bit of pandemonium within the trading card game community as well as inflated prices at local shops lucky enough to have booster packs. Now, Ravensburger has announced a few more locations.
When Disney Lorcana launched, it initially was available for in-person purchasing at Disneyland Paris and the Disney Store in Times Square. This created some long lines at these locations but left most Disney fans feeling left out of the launch.
While card were available online, many trading card game players started frantically searching for booster packs at their local shops. Luckily, more locations should be carrying Disney Lorcana cards very soon.
When Is Disney Lorcana Coming to Disney World and Disneyland in the US?
Disney officially announced that The First Chapter will become available at Disneyland and Disney World starting on August 28, 2023.
Disney World, located in Orlando, Florida, will have Disney Lorcana booster packs and other sealed product at World of Disney, a store in Disney Springs. The same sealed product will also be available at Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District inside Disney Pin Traders.
There should be starter decks and gift sets available at these locations, but insiders state that the quantities will be limited. Buyers will allegedly only be able to purchase up to two of each item.
If you can’t get to these in-person locations, Disney also stated that Disney Lorcana sealed product will be available to purchase on shopDisney’s online store. This will start on September 1.
When Will More Stores Get Disney Lorcana Product?
A lot of trading card game players are also wondering when local shops will get more Disney Lorcana product. It’s been pretty rough for stores to get enough to keep up with demand, leaving a lot of fans waiting for the next shipment.
Unfortunately, Ravensburger’s store locator is still in the works. This will give you a better idea of what stores carry Disney Lorcana product. Shops are also able to apply for more product as well as materials needed for in-person tournaments and activities.
Right now, however, you may have to keep calling your local shops to see if they have Disney Lorcana products in stock or on the way.
