Can Kameo Fighters Be Main Fighters?
You probably see some popular names in the Kameo Fighter list. This initially left some fans concerned that they wouldn’t be in the main roster as well.
It’s recently been confirmed, however, that a lot of names on the Kameo Fighter list are also on the main roster list, including Sonya Blade and Sub-Zero.
It was also confirmed that players can use the standard fighters as Kameo Fighters as well. This should include DLC fighters coming in Kombat Packs.
How Do Kameo Fighters Work in Mortal Kombat 1?
Kameo Fighters are assist characters that are selected separately from the characters in the main roster.
During a fight, you can call on your Kameo Fighter to use a special move, throw, or breaker. Each Kameo Fighter has its own moveset and will aid you in battle in their own unique way. Their attacks are inspired by their moveset and playstyle in previous titles.
You’ll have to test out a variety of Kameo Fighters to see which ones work the best with your main fighter and your playstyle.
