Genshin Impact New Banner Type Reveals Long Lost Weapon

Chronicled Wish is the first new banner type in Genshin Impact, bringing some exciting 5-star characters and weapons. Here's how it works.

Genshin Impact is getting a new banner type for the first time ever.

Version 4.5 has revealed massive changes to Genshin Impact, including a new banner type called Chronicled Wish. Here's how this new banner type will work and what characters and weapons are included.

How Chronicled Wish Banners Work in Genshin Impact

Chronicled Wish has a variety of 5-star characters and weapons, as well as other interesting content. To wish on this banner, you'll need Intertwined Fates. Then, decide if you want a character or weapon. For example, if you choose a weapon, your 5-star pulls will only consist of weapons.

There is also a pity system for Chronicled Wish, which works the same as it always has for character banners. The 5-star hard pity is at 90 pulls and the 4-star is 10 pulls. There will also be a 5/50 system, meaning your first 5-star has a 50% chance of being the character or weapon you chose. The other 50% will get you another character or weapon from the standard pool but the next pull is guaranteed to be your choice.

Genshin Impact's Chronicled Wish Characters and Weapons

For the duration of Genshin Impact 4.5, here are the 5-stars featured in the new banner type.

Players immediately noticed that Hunter's Path is one of the weapons in Chronicled Wish. On Reddit, fans immediately started applauding the return of the popular bow, with one joking that it's been "200 years" since it disappeared from the game. Another added: "We have been blessed!"

At the start of 2023, players started worrying about the future of the Hunter's Path weapon since its wielder, Tighnari, was put in standard banner without his bow. At that point, many feared the weapon would never come back. Now, a year later, the Hunter's Path bow has made its return.
