Magic: The Gathering Release Schedule For 2024

If you play Magic: The Gathering, 2024 is looking like an exciting year. And if you don't — it's time to start. Whether you're a collector or a competitive player, there is plenty of Magic content to look forward to in 2024. Here is your guide to the 2024 release schedule so far. 

Wizards of the Coast has revealed the entire 2024 release schedule for Magic: The Gathering. From sci-fi apocalypse to classic horror, there's a ton of great themes and cards on the way. 

Murders At Karlov Manor – February 9, 2024

Are you a fan of murder mysteries? In just a week, the next Ravnica set is coming. It's not a normal Ravnica set, however, and is instead themed after a top-down murder mystery. It will include a Universes Beyond offering Ravnica: Clue Edition, an entirely new way to play Magic that takes inspiration from Clue. 

Another new twist is incoming in the form of Play boosters. This will replace the usual Draft and Set boosters. Within, you'll find everything you need to solve a murder, including characters, weapons, and clues.

Fallout Commander Decks – March 8, 2024

Bethesda's classic atomic apocalypse video game series is being recreated as dynamic cards in commander decks. This includes the Scrappy Survivors deck featuring Dogmeat, the most loyal companion to ever grace a game, Science! featuring Dr. Maddison Li, the most brilliant scientist in the Commonwealth, Mutant Menace led by the Mothman, and the New Vegas-themed Hail, Caesar!

Outlaws Of Thunder Junction – April 19, 2024

This is a cool first for Magic, diving into the Wild West. This interesting take on Westerns is focused on villains from across the multiverse, bringing a bit of fantasy to the usual dusty and dry genre.

Modern Horizons 3 – Quarter 2 2024

This is the third installment in Modern Horizon featuring some new elements. This includes double-faced cards. Expect it to be added to MTG Arena. 

Assassin’s Creed – Quarter 3 2024

Another video game crossover is coming to Magic: The Gathering. There will be new cards and reprints featuring iconic characters and memorable moments from the video game series. 

Bloomburrow – Quarter 3 2024

Bloomburrow is a new plane that is full of anthropomorphic animals and no humans. The animals wear clothes and hold weapons like humans, however. This interesting concept is part of a new story arc called the Dragonstorm Arc.

Duskmourn: House Of Horror – Quarter 3 2024

This is a set based on 70's and 80's horror movies. It all takes place within a big mansion and feature a lot of dark characters and spooky art.
