2023 was a massive year for streaming, with multiple new faces coming to the forefront of Twitch, and experienced streamers continuing to grow their followings. We’re going to take a look at the Top 10 most-watched streamers on Twitch in 2023, focusing on total hours watched to rank them.

10: Handongsuk - Hours Watched: 56,933,803


Handongsuk is a Korean Variety Streamer who saw a big increase in total hours watched during 2023, growing by 21.1%. He also saw a 27.6% increase in average viewers compared to 2022. Handongsuk mainly streamed Teamfight Tactics but also played a lot of Lost Ark, EA Sports FC Online, and League of Legends.

9: IlloJuan - Hours Watched: 62,283,546


IlloJuan is a Spanish Variety Streamer with over 3.8 million followers on Twitch. He spent most of his time in 2023 streaming in the Just Chatting section, but spent a number of hours on DayZ, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Starfield.

His Twitch Channel grew by 9.8% in 2023, and saw an increase of 2.5% in Average Viewers.

Eliasn97 is a German Variety Streamer with over 1.7 million followers on Twitch. In 2023, he spent most of his time streaming Just Chatting, while also doing sleeping streams, and the occasional game of EA FC 24, Fortnite, and Minecraft.

Eliasn97 saw a 7.7% decrease in total watch hours in 2023, but also streamed for 21% more hours during this time.

xQc is a former Overwatch professional turned Variety Streamer who has been pulling in major viewership numbers for years, and 2023 was no different. xQc was the most watched streamer in 2021 and 2022, however, the growth of newer streamers see him take the number 4 spot in 2023.

It should come as no surprise that KaiCenat tops the list for 2023. The Variety streamer from the US dominated Twitch in 2023, seeing a 70.2% increase in Hours Watched, and a 27% increase in Average Viewers while also gaining over 4 million followers in 2023 alone. With major guests appearing on his stream such as Nicki Minaj, Lil Yachty and more, 2023 was the year of KaiCenat.
