Pokémon Teases Collaboration with K-Pop Band ENHYPEN

Pokémon has just announced a partnership with a famous K-Pop band.

The Pokémon Company is now partnering with K-Pop band ENHYPEN for an upcoming big reveal. Right now, there’s only a small teaser hinting at what’s to come but the Pokémon community is already hyped.

The current teaser is only 20 seconds long. It shows members of ENHYPEN getting ready for something big, including “camping” in an RV being flown in the air with a hot air balloon. Some popular Pokémon are shown on their calendar but not much else is shown.

At the end of the trailer, it states a music collaboration called “One and Only” is coming July 12.

What is One and Only?

The Pokémon Company is collaborating with ENHYPEN on something called “One and Only.” It appears to be a music-related collaboration, which likely means a music video and song. But right now, it’s unclear what the details of the K-Pop collaboration will be.

Pokémon is no stranger to music collaborations. In the past, Pokémon released an entire album called Pokemon 25: The Album in 2021 for its 25th anniversary. This album featured tracks by pop stars like Katy Perry and Post Malone.

The Pokémon Company also did a music track with Ed Sheeran, which became the main ending credits song for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet in 2022. The music video currently has over 36 million views.

It’s currently unclear if there will be a game-related announcement along with the “One and Only” music video on July 12.

Who Is ENHYPEN?

ENHYPEN is one of the biggest K-Pop bands in South Korea. They were formed in 2020 on a survival reality show that aired in South Korea called I-Land.

ENHYPEN’s first album was BORDER: DAY ONE. After this, ENHYPEN released DIMENSION: DILEMMA and MANIFESTO: DAY 1, two albums that reached 1 million in sales. Both albums also debuted on the Billboard 200 at No. 11 and 6.

K-Pop fans are already flooding the “One and Only” teaser with excited comments. Most fans believe that the reveal on July 12 will be a song and are already discussing the members’ vocal range and the unique visuals that will accompany it.
