Pokémon Scarlet & Violet is arguably one of the easiest Pokémon titles to hunt for shiny Pokémon however it can still be quite an arduous process to find one of them in the wild. That is why we decided to list five Pokémon who, with a couple of tricks, can be easily found in their shiny form.

Before you start your hunts make sure you have already unlocked the Shiny Charm which you can obtain by capturing all 400 Pokémon from the base game PokéDex.

Clefairy

To get a shiny Clefairy you must first eat a sandwich that will increase your Fairy-type encounter power, one can easily be made with the following recipe: Tomato x1, Salty Herba Mystica x2. Head into the cave located in the Crystal Pool and find the cave segment in which the Clefairy spawn, once there all you need is to hug the edge of the cliff marked circled in red and press R so your Pokémon forces new Clefairy to spawn.

Carbink

To get yourself a Carbink you will follow a process similar to Clefairy, eat a sandwich that boosts your Fairy-type encounter power (ex: Tomato x1, Salty Herba Mystica x2), head into the cave located in the Crystal Pool but this time stop in the middle of the first drop. On one of the ledges, you will find an entrance to a small enclosure which will be filled with Carbink as well as a couple of items. To avoid having any Pokémon spawn in the cave system below you make sure to use the picnic at the center of this area and then run towards the entrance, this will ensure a more efficient Carbink spawn.

Sentret

To get a shiny Sentret you must first eat a sandwich that will increase your Normal-type encounter power such as the one from the following recipe: Tofu x1, Salty Herba Mystica x1, and Sour Herba Mystica x1. The location where you will have the best odds at capturing Sentret is inside a cave located on the mountain to the left of the Kitakami Hall entrance. Head into the cave, set yourself at the entrance, and press the R so your Pokémon forces new Sentret to spawn.

Hoothoot

A shiny Hoothoot can also be easily obtained through the use of a sandwich that increases Normal-type encounter power (Tofu x1, Salty Herba Mystica x1, and Sour Herba Mystica x1). A pack of Hoothoots can be found inside a cave north of the Kitakami Hall, head into the cave’s entrance, and press the R so your Pokémon forces new Hoothoot to spawn.

Feebas

One of the most notorious shiny Pokémon from the entire franchise is the last Pokémon from our list but don’t worry, you won’t have to spend days trying to fish this one. All you need to do is head into the cave in the Crystal Pool, go further in the cave system until you find the Feebas pond, and hug the right side wall as fast as possible. By going in and out of this location you will force the Feebas spawner to activate and be able to cycle through them until you find your very own shiny fish.
