It’s been a wild five months since the ninth expansion of Teamfight Tactics hit the live server but as TFT Set 10, Remix Rumble is about to hit live servers, it's time for TFT Runeterra Reforged to have its final send-off. TFT Patch 13.22 is the final one for TFT Set 9.5 and with it comes a ton of fun changes to celebrate its lifespan. Here are all the major changes that await players in TFT Patch 13.22 which hits live servers on Wednesday, November 8th.

TFT Patch 13.22 highlights include:

  • New Choncc’s Treasure game mode
  • Overtime changes
  • Trait and unit buffs across the board to give TFT Set 9.5 a very fun sendoff

Choncc’s Treasure

With TFT Set 9’s final send-off patch, the team behind TFT has brought back a fan favorite game mode. Choncc’s Treasure is an updated version of the “Fortune’s Favor” game mode last seen in TFT Set 8, Monsters Attack. Here is a look at what this game mode has to offer.

  • With Carousel gone, the starting unit you receive is now a random 4 or 5-cost. Units will be of the same cost for all players.
  • After the carousel round, Choncc will come by to give you special loot orbs. More and more rewards will be given out the later into the game it gets.
  • At 50 Tactician Health, the player will receive a large golden orb with some special items to help them catch back up.
  • Two new items were added! Choncc's Prowler's Claw and Choncc's Rocket-Propelled Fist. Expect to see these in special loot drops.
  • Loot drops and patterns have been updated.
  • Both Region Portals and Remastered Portals are available options.

System Changes — Overtime rework

Even though this is the “for fun” patch, there is an actual important system change that is coming to TFT in Patch 13.22 and will stick around for the foreseeable future. And thats a change to how Overtime works. The biggest change is that when Overtime happens in a TFT round from now on, units won't gain bonus AP or AD. Instead, units gain a stacking buff with every second that passes. The idea is that the player with the stronger team will win more often now.

Traits

In the last patch of TFT Set 9, the biggest changes to traits come in the form of adjustments to Zaun and Ixtal. Both are receiving buffs across the board in order to make them more enticing to play. Speaking of, the Bruiser trait structure now has a three-piece component just in case players really wanted to play an odd number of them.
