Denver Nuggets vs. Phoenix Suns Game 4 Predictions

The series between the Nuggets and Suns looked as if it was going to be a straightforward series when Denver won the first two games comfortably, but the Suns' home win in Game 3 has made things more spicy and given them a chance to tie things up with a home win on Sunday to make it a best-of-three showdown from then on.

It was no surprise when the Nuggets looked comfortable in the first two games as they had impressed when compiling the best record in the Western Conference this season, winning 53 games and losing only 29. They finished two games ahead of #2 seeds the Memphis Grizzlies thanks to a dominant home record of 34-7. The Nuggets did not enjoy playing on the road so much, compiling a 19-22 record in away games, so perhaps the Game 3 upset should not have been a huge surprise, although they looked comfortable enough in their first round series against the Minnesota Timberwolves, winning 4-1 including winning Game 3 on the road.

The Suns were also strong on their home court, going 28-13 in Phoenix during the regular season as part of an overall record of 45-37. They also won their opening playoff series 4-1, beating the fifth-seeded Los Angeles Clippers with four straight wins after losing the opening game at home at the Footprint Center.
