Coach JB on Patrick Mahomes, "You Can't Be The Best If All Your Playoff Losses Are to a 40-Year-Old Tom Brady"
Tom Brady is known as the greatest of all time, aka the GOAT. What Brady has accomplished in the NFL may never be replicated. However, there are those who say Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes should be in the conversation already.
He will play in the fourth Super Bowl of his career at the age of 28 and has a chance to win his third ring. He's on track to potentially be given GOAT status. However, at least according to Coach JB, he has a long way to go.
In the "Coach JB Show with Big Smitty," Coach JB says he doesn't understand why people are crowning Mahomes as the best quarterback ever.
"I want to dive into why people put him [Patrick Mahomes] on the Mount Rushmore already. I’m trying to figure it out; his stats show he doesn’t belong. I look at all these other guys and there’s a lot of other guys on this list that I would have on the Mount Rushmore that have won two rings over Mahomes. A lot of people already said that he’s the best. You can’t be the best if your three losses in the playoffs before Burrow were all to a 40-year-old Tom Brady."

Coach JB also said that Brady is the superior quarterback by far and shared an interesting stat to shut down the Brady-Mahomes debate.
“Brady gave Mahomes his first loss ever, his first playoff loss ever, and his first Super Bowl loss ever.”
Tom Brady's resume is unmatched, but Mahomes seems to be on track to make a threat or possibly surpass Brady. However, if you ask Coach JB, there's no way Mahomes passes up Brady in this lifetime.
