Gophers coach Jerry Kill hospitalized after suffering seizure
Gophers head football coach Jerry Kill is recovering in the hospital after suffering a seizure after Saturday's loss to Northwestern at TCF Bank Stadium, KMSP-TV reported.
According to the University of Minnesota Athletic Department, Kill was in the locker room when he suffered the seizure. He was treated by medical personnel before he was transported to the hospital by ambulance as a precaution.
The hospital Kill was taken to was not revealed.
The Pioneer Press reported that Kill appeared to be in "good physical condition" at the post-game press conference, and was escorted to team personnel to the locker room afterward.
The university has yet to release a statement on his condition, although Kill is said to be resting comfortably.
The Star Tribune said the update would be released Sunday.
Kill suffered a seizure during the Gophers' game against New Mexico in September 2011.
Two months later, he said he'd quit coaching if the seizures affected his ability to coach.
