Day 2 recap: Minnesota state girls hockey tournament

Thursday marks Day 2 of the 2024 Minnesota state girls hockey tournament with the four Class 2A quarterfinals taking place at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn. 

The quarterfinal games can be streamed for free on NSPN, and the semifinals for both classes Friday as well as the finals Saturday will be televised on 45TV/Prep45. 

Here's a look at Thursday's games: 

No. 2 Hill-Murray 8, Roseau 2

First period
