Watch highlights from KAT's ridiculous performance against the Spurs

Minnesota hadn't beaten San Antonio in 3 years. Towns helped change that Wednesday.

The Wolves hadn't beaten the San Antonio Spurs since April of 2014.

Minnesota featured a starting lineup of Ricky Rubio, Robbie Hummel, Corey Brewer, Kevon Love and Gorgui Dieng. And current Wolves big man Karl-Anthony Towns was still in high school

KAT is now in his third NBA season, and had never come out victorious against the Spurs.

That changed Wednesday, Towns' 22nd birthday.

He put up 26 points, 16 boards and 2 blocks to lead the Timberwolves to a 98-86 win over the Spurs at Target Center – finally ending Minnesota's 3 1/2-year losing streak to San Antonio.

And if you missed the game, you can take a look at just how beastly KAT was thanks to this full highlight package put together by prolific YouTuber FreeDawkins:

The Wolves are 9-5 and third in the Western Conference right now.
