Browns to host Vikings for joint training camp practices

Dates and times to be announced later

The Browns announced Tuesday that the Minnesota Vikings will travel to Cleveland and take part in joint training camp practices this summer.

Minnesota hosted the Cardinals and Titans for joint practices before hosting preseason games against both before the start of the 2023 season. The Vikings traveling to Cleveland's training camp would seem to indicate a road preseason game against the Browns is on the schedule as well.

Dates and times for the joint practices will be announced at a later date.

The connections between the Browns and the Vikings run deep. Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah worked in the Browns front office before taking the role in Minnesota. Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski was a long time coach for the Vikings before taking over in Cleveland. The Browns also feature former Vikings defensive stars Za'Darius Smith and Dalvin Tomlinson.

Cleveland finished second in the AFC North in 2023 with an 11-6 record, earning Stefanski his second NFL Coach of the Year award .

The Vikings and Browns last played each other in Week 4 of the 2021 season, an ugly 14-7 Minnesota loss at U.S. Bank Stadium.
