Vikings’ wide receiver Percy Harvin is doubtful for Sunday’s game against Detroit. Coach Leslie Frazier says he will continue to get treatment and isn’t ruled out completely. Harvin’s backup is rookie Jarius Wright who’s listed as active for the first time in his NFL career.

Adrian Peterson knows that without Harvin the pressure will be even greater on Christian Ponder. Peterson is hoping Harvin's absence is "a blessing in a disguise and we get things going."

Harvin's absence could mean a bigger role for Jerome Simpson. Simpson had his best game of the season in a week two win over the Lions, and on Friday he told reporters he finally has his “juice” back. In other words … he’s feeling pretty good.
