The long, long recruitment of Arch Manning will take another sharp turn as the No. 1 player in the college football recruiting class will take an official visit to Texas.

Manning will reportedly visit Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns campus in an official capacity on the weekend of June 15-17, according to On3 Sports.

The visit will follow his appearance at the yearly Manning Passing Academy.

Manning has kept his intentions a private matter and only spoken with the media on a few occasions, but three schools remain the favorite to sign the quarterback.

Texas, Georgia, and Alabama are schools Manning is paying the most attention to, although the player did mention a continued interest in LSU and Florida, as well.

But the Longhorns remain the odds-on favorite to land the quarterback, with a 46.8 percent chance to sign Manning, according to On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

Georgia is second at 40.1 percent and Alabama is third at 11.2 percent.

Manning is a consensus 5-star prospect and the universal selection as the No. 1 player in the 2023 recruiting class.
