UFC Vegas 85 Results & Highlights: Imavov Bests Dolidze in Wild Main Event

Top middleweights met in the night's headlining bout.

Following the promotion’s first PPV event of the year, the UFC returned with another Fight Night card that took place at the UFC Apex facility.

The night's main event was a matchup between top middleweight contenders Roman Dolidze and Nassourdine Imavov.

Dolidze had his four-fight win streak stopped by former title challenger Marvin Vettori in his last outing, and the Georgian now has back-to-back losses after “Russian Sniper” overcame a point deduction to take a majority decision victory.

The co-main event between Renato Moicano and Drew Dober was a pivotal bout for the UFC lightweight division. 

Both men entered the night ranked in the lightweight Top 15, and after some tremendous back-and-forth action it was Moicano who got his hand raised and secured his second win in a row.

The rest of the main card also saw Natália Silva defeat Viviane Araujo in an all-Brazilian battle, and Randy Brown also picked up perhaps the most impressive win of his career when he knocked out Muslim Salikhov.

The night's prelims also featured plenty of exciting action, and highlights included huge knockouts from Charles Radtke and Themba Gorimbo as well as a submission win from Molly McCann in her strawweight debut.
