Several top college players and G League standouts have been invited to the NBA Draft Combine, which will take place from May 15-21 in Chicago. It's the first big major interaction of potential draft picks heading into the draft, which is June 22, with 76 players invited.

Each year, teams submit a list of players they would like to see invited, typically those with the highest odds of getting drafted. There are six current G League players invited, and four who are playing internationally. Several of the top players will skip the combine, waiting for individual workouts with teams high in the draft order. The NBA Draft Lottery will take place during the combine on Tuesday night at 8:30 p.m. ET.

The event features 5-on-5 games, strength and agility testing, shooting drills, measurements and other related on-court exercises. Prospects have the opportunity to improve their draft stock in a competitive environment against their peers, with scouts from all 30 teams on hand every day to watch all the action
