UPDATE: Alex Caruso's Injury Status For Cavs-Bulls Game

Alex Caruso is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

UPDATE: Alex Caruso has been ruled out (h/t K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago). 

On Wednesday evening, the Chicago Bulls will host the Cleveland Cavaliers at the United Center in Illinois. 

For the game, the Bulls could be without one of their best players, as Alex Caruso is on the injury report.

Caruso has played in 50 games and is averaging 9.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.1 blocks per contest while shooting 47.4% from the field and 38.6% from the three-point range.  

The Bulls are the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 27-31 record in 58 games. 

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently lost to Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons by a score of 105-95. 

In 25 minutes of playing time, Caruso had four points, two rebounds, one assist and five steals while shooting 2/9 from the field and 0/5 from the three-point range.

Following their matchup with the Cavs, the Bulls will remain in Chicago to host Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday evening at the United Center.

As for the Cavs, they are having a sensational season and are the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 38-19 record in 57 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and have gone 7-3 over their last ten games. 

Following the Bulls, the Cavs will travel to Michigan for a matchup with the Detroit Pistons on Friday evening.
