UPDATE: Alperen Sengun's Injury Status For Pelicans-Rockets Game

Alperen Sengun is on the injury report for Friday's game.

UPDATE: Alperen Sengun will be a game-time decision, according to Danielle Lerner of The Houston Chronicle.   

On Friday evening, the Houston Rockets are hosting the New Orleans Pelicans in Texas. 

For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as Alperen Sengun is on the injury report. 

Via Underdog NBA: "Alperen Sengun (ankle) listed questionable for Friday."

Sengun has played in seven games this season and is averaging 18.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.6 assists per contest while shooting 59.8% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point range.

The Rockets are 4-3 in their first seven games and are in the middle of a four-game winning streak. 

Most recently, they defeated LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers by a score of 128-94.

Sengun had 18 points, seven rebounds and four assists while shooting 8/10 from the field in 25 minutes of playing time. 

Sengun was the 16th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft and is coming off a year where he averaged 14.8 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.9 assists per contest while shooting 55.3% from the field in 75 games (72 starts). 

Following the Pelicans, the Rockets will play their next game against the Denver Nuggets (at home) on Sunday. 

As for the Pelicans, they are 4-4 in their first eight games and most recently lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves by a score of 122-101.

Brandon Ingram led the team with 24 points in 32 minutes of playing time. 

Following the Rockets, they will play their next game against the Dallas Mavericks (at home) on Sunday.
