Alperen Sengun's Official Injury Status For Rockets-Hawks Game

Alperen Sengun has been ruled out for Saturday's game.

On Saturday evening, the Houston Rockets will face off against Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena in Georgia. 

For the game, they will be without one of their best players, as Alperen Sengun has been ruled out.

Sengun is in the middle of an impressive season with averages of 21.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 54.1% from the field and 28.9% from the three-point range in 51 games. 

The Rockets are the 12th seed in the Western Conference with a 23-28 record in 51 games.  

They are 3-7 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a three-game losing streak. 

Most recently, the Rockets lost to the Toronto Raptors by a score of 107-104.  

In 21 minutes of playing time, Sengun had seven points, seven rebounds and one assist while shooting 3/7 from the field.  

Following the Hawks, the Rockets will return home to host the New York Knicks on Monday evening in Texas. 

As for the Hawks, they are the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 23-29 record in 52 games. 

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and are coming off a 127-121 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. 

Trae Young led the way with 37 points and 12 assists. 

Following the Rockets, the Hawks will remain at home to host DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls on Monday evening at State Farm Arena.
