UPDATE: Anthony Davis' Current Injury Status For Lakers-Jazz Game

Anthony Davis is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will be in Salt Lake City for a showdown with Lauri Markkanen and the Utah Jazz.  

For the game, 2020 NBA Champion Anthony Davis is listed as questionable on the injury report. 

Via Underdog NBA: "Anthony Davis (Achilles, hip) questionable Wednesday."

Davis has played in 51 games and is averaging 24.6 points, 12.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.5 blocks per contest while shooting 55.4% from the field and 28.1% from the three-point range.   

The Lakers are the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 29-26 record in 55 games. 

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak. 

Most recently, the Lakers beat the Detroit Pistons by a score of 125-111. 

In 28 minutes of playing time, Davis had 20 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and six blocks while shooting 6/12 from the field and 1/3 from the three-point range. 

After the Jazz, the Lakers will play their next game on February 22 when they visit Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center in San Francisco. 

As for the Jazz, they are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 26-28 record in 54 games. 

They are 4-6 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a two-game losing streak. 

Following Los Angeles, the Jazz will play their next game on Thursday evening when they host the Warriors in Salt Lake City.
