UPDATE: Anthony Davis' Current Injury Status For Nuggets-Lakers Game

Anthony Davis is on the injury report for Thursday's game.

On Thursday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will host Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets in California. 

For the game, the Lakers could be without one of their best players, as 2020 NBA Champion Anthony Davis is on the injury report. 

Via Underdog NBA: "Anthony Davis (Achilles, hip) questionable for Thursday."

Davis has played in 48 games and is averaging 24.7 points, 12.2 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.4 blocks per contest while shooting 55.4% from the field and 29.8% from the three-point range.  

The Lakers are the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 27-25 record in 52 games. 

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and are also in the middle a three-game winning streak. 

Most recently, the Lakers beat the Charlotte Hornets by a score of 124-118. 

Davis had 26 points, 15 rebounds, 11 assists and three blocks while shooting 12/16 from the field and 0/2 from the three-point range in 37 minutes of playing time. 

Following the Nuggets, the Lakers will host Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday evening in Los Angeles. 

As for the Nuggets, they are the third seed in the Western Conference with a 35-16 record in 51 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and have gone 7-3 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Nuggets beat the Portland Trail Blazers by a score of 112-103. 

Following the Lakers, they will visit De'Aaron Fox and the Sacramento Kings on Friday evening in California.
