UPDATE: Anthony Edwards' Current Injury Status For Clippers-Timberwolves Game

Anthony Edwards is on the injury report for Sunday's game.

On Sunday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves will host the Los Angeles Clippers at the Target Center.

For the game, the Timberwolves could be without one of their best players, as Anthony Edwards is on the injury report.

Edwards has played in 35 games and is averaging 25.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 45.9% from the field and 38.3% from the three-point range.  

The Timberwolves are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 27-11 record in their first 38 games. 

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Portland Trail Blazers by a score of 116-93.  

In 27 minutes of playing time, Edwards had nine points, three rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block while shooting 4/9 from the field and 0/3 from the three-point range. 

Following the Clippers, the Timberwolves will visit the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday evening in Michigan. 

On the road, they are 12-9 in 21 games, while they are 15-2 in the 17 games they have hosted at the Target Center. 

As for the Clippers, they are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 25-13 record in their first 38 games. 

They are 8-2 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a three-game winning streak. 

Most recently, the Clippers beat the Memphis Grizzlies by a score of 128-119. 

Following the Timberwolves, they will host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday evening.
